Snowhawk Partners and Columbia Capital back Telarus leadership in investing for growth as the Company nears 25 years of serving advisors and their enterprise customers.
SANDY, Utah, Nov. 5, 2026 — Telarus, a premier technology services distributor (TSD), today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement under which Snowhawk Partners ("Snowhawk") will make a strategic investment in the company, alongside continued investment from long-standing partner Columbia Capital ("Columbia"). The transaction is expected to close prior to year-end 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
"Our advisors are guiding customers through more complex technology decisions than ever before," said Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus. "Snowhawk's investment lets us put more behind them: deeper engineering and solutions support, better tools, and a broader supplier portfolio. We have always looked for business partners as much as capital partners, and Snowhawk's team has spent their careers investing in cloud, connectivity, and technology services businesses. They understand the role advisors play in helping businesses get technology right."
Adam Edwards will continue to lead the company, supported by Chief Commercial Officer Richard Murray and the existing leadership team. Edwards and Murray will also retain substantial ownership stakes in the business. The investment from Snowhawk, alongside Columbia's continued investment, fuels Telarus' next phase of growth – one built on the same foundation that has made it the TSD of choice for the industry's top technology advisors.
"Advisors have a critical role in the future of the technology services ecosystem and Telarus has built the premier platform to enable their growth," said Robert Reid, Founding Partner of Snowhawk. "Telarus has earned those advisors' trust by putting them first, and it has built the platform to help them win. We look forward to working with the Telarus team to invest behind the people, tools, and supplier relationships that advisors rely on."
"When we first invested in Telarus in 2020, we saw the technology advisor channel at an inflection point," said Evan DeCorte, Partner at Columbia. "Our continuing investment reflects our conviction that the channel's best years are ahead of it, and that Telarus and its leadership team are the right people to lead it there."
Moelis & Company LLC served as lead financial advisor, and Guggenheim Securities, LLC served as financial advisor to Telarus. DLA Piper served as legal counsel to Telarus. Snowhawk was advised by Greenberg Traurig.
Advisors and suppliers are invited to learn more about the transaction on the Telarus Tuesday Call webinar on Tuesday, November 10, at 9 a.m. MT (register here), and can find answers to common questions in the FAQ here.
